We specialise in SALSA dancing. We have taught thousands of people since 2011. Salsa is the most popular Latin rhythm in the world. You can hear salsa music at restaurants, pubs, parties and everywhere. That's why our Beginner Salsa classes in Sydney are very popular!

What is the Tropical Soul Trial Week?
The Trial Week gives you unlimited access to all our dance classes — Salsa, Bachata, Reggaeton, Twerk, and more! It’s the perfect way to explore different Latin dance styles, meet our instructors, and find the classes you love most.
Do I need a partner or dance experience to join?
Not at all! Most of our classes are beginner-friendly, and you don’t need a partner — we rotate during class so everyone gets to dance and learn together in a fun, social environment.
What should I wear?
Wear comfy clothes you can move in, like activewear or casual outfits. For shoes, it depends on the style you choose. If you want to do partner dancing like Salsa or Bachata, choose something light with smooth soles (avoid grippy runners). For Mixed Latin styles, like Reggaeton, Twerk, wear gym shoes — and don’t forget your water bottle!
What do you recommend for my first class?
Arrive to your class at least 15 mins early so you can get familiar with the premisses. Our receptionist will take a photo of you for your student profile. Make sure to smile
Where is Tropical Soul located?
We’re conveniently located in Sydney, on Parramatta Road in Annandale. With plenty of nearby transport options and street parking, it’s easy to get to your dance class from anywhere in the city.
