WHAT TO EXPECT
Duration: 55-minute dance lesson.
You will join a group of existing students doing their beginner course
The first 20 minutes: our instructors will teach / revise the basic steps. Make sure you attend these 20+ minutes, very important
Rest of the class: after the basics are taught / revised, our instructor will teach a fun combo. It is new material for everybody in the class
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER
You will be invited to join us for our Salsa (or Bachata) Beginners course
Our beginners course is 6 weeks long (syllabus based)
You already did your first class of the syllabus: So you only have to complete 5 more weeks to complete our Salsa (or Bachata) Level 1

Is this class really free?
Yes! Your first beginner Salsa class is completely free. We want you to experience the fun and friendly atmosphere at Tropical Soul with no obligation.
Do I need a partner?
Not at all! The vast majority of our students come solo. We rotate partners regularly throughout the class, making it a fun way to meet new people.
Where is Tropical Soul located?
We are conveniently located in Sydney's Inner West, on Parramatta Road in Annandale. There are plenty of transport options and street parking available.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, casual clothing that allows free movement. Flat shoes, soft-soled sneakers, or dance sneakers are best—avoid thick rubber soles.
Is Tropical Soul good for total beginners?
Absolutely! Our classes are designed specifically for adults who have never danced a step in their lives. You'll build confidence in a warm, welcoming environment.
