Welcome to the exciting world of salsa and bachata! If you’ve always wanted to learn to dance from scratch and immerse yourself in the magic of these Latin rhythms, you’re in the right place!
In these bootcamps, you’ll experience the joy of Latin dance as you dive into a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our expert instructors will guide you step by step, ensuring each move is fun and easy to follow.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never danced before; our instructors will guide you with patience and enthusiasm.

Absolute Beginners Bootcamps are for those people who are busy and don’t have much timefor new hobbies. Or for people who would like to try a bit before commiting to a full 6 weeks course.
In only 1 evenning, you will learn the basis of Salsa and/or Bachata and be able to dance a full song comfortably. You can join us then for Level 2 of classes after it.

Prefer the sensual movements of bachata? This bootcamp is for you! From basic steps to more elegant figures, you’ll discover the magic of bachata in a relaxed and energetic environment.

Ready to take your first steps into the salsa world? Our bootcamp will take you from basic steps to more advanced moves. You don’t need any previous experience, just the desire to have fun and learn!

Join one of our Beginners 6-week course and learn the rhythm, the basics steps, and your first turn patterns.

At Tropical Soul we follow the NSW Holiday calendar, so if there is a holiday, the studio will be closed, and the beginners course will be only 5 weeks (instead of 6).
*5 week courses – $115 for the entire course

Is Salsa or Bachata easy to learn?
It is easy, if you want it to be easy. Just like any sports, it depends on the amount of time you practice. Our instructors will teach you the technique & fundamentals in Salsa, Bachata and other styles, and then it is up to you come to our socials and dance with your peers
Why take a Salsa or Bachata Beginners course?
Our beginners courses will ensure that you learn the right fundamentals and that you solidify your basic steps. In only 6 weeks, you will be able to dance a full Salsa or Bachata song without having to do the same move!
Am I to old to learn Salsa or Bachata?
You are never old to learn Salsa! In fact, Salsa, Bachata and Latin dancing helps reduce the risk of alzheimers disease. So don’t wait any longer and come join us!
How long does it take to learn Salsa / Bachata?
It all depends. It all depends on how much you practice the moves taught in classes, and also how often you go social dancing. Here at TS, we offer 2 socials per month and encourage our students to go out and social dance as much a possible.
